Location

The Denver and Boudler Scrabble Clubs are hosting a local club tournament on Saturday, March 24th. The tournament will be held at the Country Buffet in the Phar-Mor Plaza at 301 Englewood Parkway, Englewood, CO.

Take Hampden Ave (285), a few blocks east of Santa Fe (85), turn north on Elati, then east on Englewood Parkway to the restaurant.

In exchange for letting us use the room for free, the restaurant requires that each attendee purchase a meal and tip the wait staff.

Format

6 rounds

Probably two divisions, with a cutoff of 1200 and a 100-point play-up option. Play-ups will be permitted as long as the top division stays even.

Notes

It's a good idea to skim through the NSA tournament rules before any tournament.

Please bring whatever equipment (board, clock, tiles, racks) you have and your favorite scoresheets.

This is a Local Club Tournament, which is just like a regular tournament, except it counts for only 1/3 as many ratings points.
